This half term we have continued to learn about World War Two. As part of our topic we learnt about remembrance day and why we observe it each year. To honor the sacrifice the soldiers made in World War Two, we wrote poems based on different soldiers accounts and we also learnt how to draw poppies: the symbol of remembrance.
Our favourite part of this half term was our DT day where we created World War Two gardens and Anderson shelters: the best bit was getting covered in the brown PVA glue! Take a look at some of our pictures below to see how they turned out!
